Sr Product Designer - Fintech (100% Remote - USA)

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer for Hopper’s rapidly scaling Fintech team. You’ll help scale successful fintech products across new sales channels and also create new products that solve customer problems. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver elegant, user-centric experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end web experiences, owning the process from concept through launch.
• Conduct customer interviews and usability tests; use qualitative and quantitative signals to validate and iterate.
• Track customer behavior, analyze metrics, and run experiments to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features.
• Create simple, logical flows that make complex workflows feel effortless.
• Balance customer needs with business goals and technical constraints; make sound tradeoffs between speed, learning, and competing priorities.
• Lead design reviews with external partners and build persuasive cases for design decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years designing modern digital products with a strong portfolio showing end-to-end web design.
• Proven ability to design 0-to-1 experiences from concept through launch.
• Works effectively with product and engineering teams in Agile settings; clearly communicates design rationale and assesses technical feasibility.
• Data-driven judgment grounded in research, testing, and metrics; comfortable prioritizing and making tradeoffs.
• Thrives in ambiguity and fast iteration; customer experience is central to decision-making.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI tooling for rapid prototyping (e.g., Figma Make, Lovable, Cursor).
