About the role

Role Overview

The Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager will translate ambitious company goals into a structured “System View” and serve as the engine of execution. This role manages complex, concurrent technical programs while scaling AI initiatives using AI and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple concurrent programs of varying scope and complexity with objective oversight.
Ensure programs adhere to a strict Program Playbook, delivering technical capability and achieving targeted outcomes.
Create an execution rhythm (rituals/meetings) that drives decisions, removes blockers, and clarifies ownership.
Act as an information radiator using clear reporting for delivery health, milestone tracking, and look-ahead risk analysis.
Integrate AI into program management workflows, including:
- Automating RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)
- Producing concise executive summaries from status updates
Govern the unpredictability of AI-driven development by adapting traditional program management to support experimentation.
Maintain a centralized work hub (e.g., Jira/Confluence) for initiative status, critical paths, and dependencies.
Identify and escalate delivery roadblocks and risks quickly and effectively.

Requirements

10+ years experience across SaaS product development, program management, and release management.
Direct experience with AI-driven development lifecycles and using AI/agentic workflows to improve program management.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
Proven ability to earn trust, mobilize teams, set direction in ambiguity, and handle conflict with grace.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence (and Google Suite).

Preferred

Deep knowledge of the AI landscape (LLMs, generative AI, agentic frameworks) and ability to integrate it into program strategy.
Strong communication skills (presenting, negotiation, collaboration) across all organizational levels.
Strategic mindset balancing business outcomes and deep technology.
