About the role
Role Overview
Senior Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications. You will work with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and improve platform performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Node.js platform codebases using MVC and best practices
- Build and optimize web applications using React.js to improve UX and responsiveness
- Administer and optimize MySQL databases for high availability, performance, and data integrity
- Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools to deploy, monitor, and scale applications
- Convert complex business requirements into technical implementations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet deadlines and client requirements
- Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control
- Participate in code reviews, meetings, and technical discussions
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development (backend-focused)
- 6+ years hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js
- 3+ years working with GCP (deployment, monitoring, scaling)
- Proficiency with MySQL administration, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving requirements
