Sr. Manager, Finance & Strategy - Marketing

Role Overview

Sr. Manager, Finance & Strategy (Marketing) partnering with the global Marketing organization at Samsara.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact business partnership to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing executives to support strategic decisions and accurate near-term/long-term financial operating plans
• Perform data-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform capital allocation and value creation initiatives, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering Operations to plan and execute complex cross-functional initiatives
• Build scalable finance processes and systems and use AI tools to improve financial visibility, control, and planning effectiveness for durable growth
• Identify and track key internal/external metrics and analyze financial results
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting and lead monthly operating review meetings with VP and EVP leadership
• Champion and model Samsara cultural principles while scaling globally, and help embed team-wide behaviors
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team

Requirements

• 7+ years of finance & strategy experience
• Ability to think and communicate effectively with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment

• Office-based in San Francisco, CA, or fully remote
