About the role
Role overview
Sr. Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes) to support CrowdStrike’s global expansion of the Falcon platform. You will be a highly technical, hands-on engineer focused on designing and operating large-scale, reliable cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions
- Optimize and maintain high reliability for large-scale infrastructure platform systems
- Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into existing workflows
- Provide technical direction for the continued evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services
- Mentor and help develop less-senior engineers to drive collaborative infrastructure decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of Kubernetes experience, including managing clusters with thousands of nodes
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana
- Strong Linux experience in large-scale, business-critical environments
- Experience operating in clouds: AWS, GCP, and OCI
- Experience operating in custom data centers
- Golang experience
- Ability to periodically handle on-call responsibilities
Bonus points
- Experience writing Kubernetes operators
- Proven effectiveness working with both local and remote teams
- Strong verbal and written communication
Education / checks
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., CS, CIS, Engineering)
- Candidate must periodically pass additional background and fingerprint checks required for government customers
