Role Overview

Sr. Full Stack Java Developer / Lead to build and deliver full-stack applications as a technical lead in a remote, 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features across backend and frontend.
• Design and implement RESTful services and integrate applications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Use AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation) to support application delivery.
• Support DevOps practices and application monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (v16 or higher).
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or New Relic.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer).
• Unit testing and TDD with JUnit/Mockito and Jasmine/Karma.
• Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Contract & Location

• 12-month contract, remote.
• Open to W2 and corp-to-corp candidates.

Compensation

• Salary range: $100k–$120k per year (or corp-to-corp rates via recruiter).
