Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Python)

Role Overview

Terakeet is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python) to build scalable, intuitive applications for global brands. The role spans the full stack—front-end experiences, backend services/APIs, and data-oriented workflows—while driving engineering quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions across front-end, backend services, and APIs
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python (enterprise frameworks) with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs (schema design and resolver implementation)
• Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver data-driven user experiences
• Design and implement clean, performant, scalable database schemas for enterprise use cases
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (in-code comments, repository docs, architectural diagrams)
• Provide senior-level technical guidance and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and system design

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional full stack software development experience
• Strong backend experience with enterprise languages; preference for Python and Django
• Modern JavaScript front-end experience; preference for Vue.js and Nuxt
• Deep experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs (schema to resolvers)
• Strong SQL skills, including enterprise-grade, performant, scalable schema design
• Proven experience creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building complex, data-driven systems (the posting truncates after this point)
