Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Python)

Role Overview

Terakeet is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python) to build intuitive, scalable applications that make a meaningful impact for global brands. You’ll work across the full stack—from front-end experiences to backend services, APIs, and data workflows—while driving continuous improvement in engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack solutions using modern front-end frameworks and robust backend services
• Develop Python backend services and APIs with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs (schema design and resolver implementation)
• Partner with design, product, and engineering to deliver intuitive, data-driven user experiences
• Design and implement clean, performant, scalable database schemas for enterprise use cases
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation (code comments, repo docs, architectural diagrams)
• Provide senior-level guidance, communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate on complex technical problems
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and system design

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional full stack software development experience
• Strong backend experience using enterprise-level languages; strong preference for Python and Django
• Modern JavaScript-based front-end experience; strong preference for Vue.js and Nuxt
• Deep experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs (schema to resolvers)
• Strong SQL skills and ability to design enterprise-grade, performant, scalable database schemas
• Proven experience creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building complex, data-oriented workflows (cut off in provided text)
