Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Python)

Role overview

Terakeet is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python) to build intuitive, scalable applications that help global brands connect with their audiences. You’ll work across the full stack—front-end experiences, backend services/APIs, and data-oriented workflows—while contributing senior-level technical guidance and continuous improvement to engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions using modern front-end frameworks and robust backend services
• Develop backend services and APIs with Python (enterprise-level) focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs (schema design and resolver implementation)
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, data-driven user experiences
• Design and implement clean, performant, scalable database schemas for enterprise use cases
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (in-code comments, repo docs, architectural diagrams)
• Provide senior-level technical guidance, stakeholder communication, and collaborative problem-solving
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and system design

Requirements (Must-have)

• 5–8 years of professional full stack software development experience
• Strong backend development with enterprise languages; preference for Python and Django
• Experience with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks/libraries; preference for Vue.js and Nuxt
• Deep experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs (schema through resolvers)
• Strong SQL skills for performant, scalable enterprise database schemas
• Proven ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation
