Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Python)

Role Overview

Terakeet is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python) to build scalable, intuitive applications for global brands. You’ll work across the full stack—from front-end experiences to backend services, APIs, and data workflows—while providing senior technical guidance and continuous improvement across engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions using modern front-end frameworks and robust backend services
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python (enterprise frameworks), emphasizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs (schema design and resolver implementation)
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver data-driven user experiences
• Design and implement clean, performant, scalable database schemas for enterprise use cases
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (in-code comments, repo docs, architectural diagrams)
• Provide senior-level technical guidance, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and solve problems collaboratively
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and system design

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong backend development experience with enterprise languages such as Python (strong preference), Ruby, Java, or C#
• Experience with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks/libraries (strong preference for Vue.js and Nuxt)
• Deep experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs (schema to resolvers)
• Strong SQL skills; ability to design performant, scalable enterprise database schemas
• Proven experience creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation
