Sr. Frontend Engineer (React)

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer (React) responsible for owning React frontend architecture and delivering scalable, high-quality user experiences for enterprise applications. You’ll combine hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring offshore engineers, and collaborating with product, UX, backend, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and define React frontend architecture (component structure, state management strategies, scalable UI patterns/design systems)
• Build and maintain reusable React component libraries aligned to UX designs and accessibility standards
• Lead and support offshore frontend engineers via task assignment, code reviews, mentoring, and delivery oversight
• Integrate frontend with backend via secure REST API patterns (API gateway concepts)
• Implement authentication and role-based access control (RBAC) workflows
• Maintain code quality through CI/CD compliance, automated testing, security reviews, and production defect resolution
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible, polished UI
• Lead sprint demos, communicate technical decisions, and support knowledge transfer
• Continuously improve engineering practices, documentation, and workflows using modern and AI-assisted development approaches

Requirements

• 6–8+ years frontend development experience, including 4+ years with React (functional components, hooks, Context API, performance optimization)
• Proven experience leading frontend teams, including distributed/offshore collaboration
• Strong experience implementing design-to-production workflows (e.g., from Figma)
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, and design systems for enterprise apps
• Experience with RBAC and authentication solutions, preferably Azure Entra ID and OAuth 2.0
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Storybook and Playwright
• Strong knowledge of REST API integration and secure frontend/backend communication
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend security practices such as SAST scanning
• Excellent communication skills
