About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend / Full-Stack Engineer for Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS), focused on the Stays & Packages product area (hotels, alternative stays, and bundled travel packages).

What You’ll Do

Work with top-tier engineers in a low-process, trust-and-autonomy environment.
Drive product and technical decisions with async consensus using high-quality documentation.
Build new booking and platform capabilities from UX to database (end-to-end).
Create scalable front-end solutions to efficiently launch new portals.
Collaborate with PMs and business partners to define and refine the roadmap.
Maintain long-term performance, usability, and maintainability across multi-partner (multi-brand / white-label) environments.

Requirements

Deep expertise in React using modern patterns (functional components, hooks).
Strong TypeScript experience for enterprise-scale applications.
Advanced CSS skills (Tailwind, SCSS, CSS-in-JS, animations, and browser quirks).
Proficiency with modern frontend tooling such as React Query / TanStack ecosystem, design-token or Tailwind-based styling, and build tools like Vite.
Experience in monorepos is a plus (e.g., Turbo, Nx, pnpm workspaces).
Solid frontend architecture fundamentals: performance, accessibility, responsive design, testing, and maintainability.
Proven frontend performance optimization (lazy loading, code-splitting, caching, Lighthouse).
Experience with complex product flows (e-commerce, travel, marketplaces, or fintech).
Ability to balance fast shipping with platform thinking in multi-brand/white-label setups.
Familiarity with SSR and static generation (e.g., Next.js) for SEO.
Strong testing mindset: knowing what to test and which test types matter.
