About the role

Role Overview

Sr. Flutter Developer to design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Work model: Tues–Thurs onsite; WFH Monday and Friday
Contract duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile apps using Flutter and Dart
Build responsive, reusable, efficient UI components
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers
Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase, and third-party services
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance
Implement state management with Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX
Perform unit, widget, and integration testing
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
Publish and maintain apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Stay current with Flutter updates and emerging mobile tech

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/IT or related) or equivalent experience
5+ years of Flutter development
Strong Dart knowledge
Experience with Android and/or iOS development
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP
Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics)
Familiarity with Git and version control
Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
Experience with local databases: SQLite or Hive

Preferred Qualifications

Native experience: Kotlin/Java (Android) and/or Swift (iOS)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating payment gateways
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
Experience with maps, notifications, and location services
