Sr Flutter Developer

Role Overview

As a Sr Flutter Developer / Mobile Innovation Engineer, you will help build and scale next-generation mobile experiences. You’ll transform ambiguous ideas into validated, high-impact mobile solutions, balancing rapid experimentation with long-term platform stability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, framing, and experimentation with cross-functional partners (product, design, data, backend, and business).
• Build rapid prototypes (throwaway and evolutionary) to test user value and technical feasibility.
• Instrument prototypes with analytics to measure adoption, performance, and learning outcomes.
• Run controlled experiments, including A/B testing, feature flags, and pilots to validate assumptions.
• Influence mobile architecture decisions, SDK choices, and integration patterns to maintain long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to native and cross-platform mobile development; collaborate on API contracts, data models, and service boundaries.
• Write clean, efficient, secure code following platform guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong native experience:
  • Swift/SwiftUI for iOS
  • Kotlin for Android
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks: React Native or Flutter (Flutter expected for this role).
• Solid knowledge of mobile architecture and design patterns: MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture.
• Expertise in API integration, mobile networking, and data synchronization.
• Deep understanding of iOS/Android platform capabilities, limitations, and guidelines.
• Ability to build prototypes / proof-of-concepts and an experimentation-focused mindset.
• Strong problem-solving and systems thinking; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
