Sr ERP Specialist

Role Overview

Sr ERP Specialist responsible for leading internal efforts to improve customer service for internal users and drive steady enhancements to Business Central (BC). You will act as the primary liaison between business and IT, supporting business requests as an internal consultant, documenting requirements/processes, serving as an internal NAV/Business Central SME, training end users, and providing go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point-of-contact and subject-matter-expert (SME) for business teams
• Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to issues and risks using the BC request backlog and independent system analysis
• Perform requirements analysis, mapping, planning, and author user stories
• Manage the BC request backlog for new improvements
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues reported by business and IT teams
• Test new functionality and changes prior to end-user acceptance testing
• Review and respond to support requests in Jira
• Write test cases and test application changes/enhancements before additional end-user testing
• Gather additional information from users; resolve or escalate to development resources
• Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes
• Provide user training for new users and new/existing functionality; create process flow mapping
• Assist in evaluating new plug-ins and technologies to meet requirements
• Partner with the BC team on projects and support requests

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and understanding of Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with SOX-compliant companies preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to proactively communicate with leadership

• Experience with inter-company/consolidation and multi-currency environments
