Role Overview
Sr. Director, Creative (Head of Creative) at Lovesac
Lead the evolution and execution of Lovesac’s brand visual and storytelling identity across all customer touchpoints. Own a cohesive creative strategy that delivers emotionally resonant campaigns to grow brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
This role manages and transforms the creative team into a nimble, multidisciplinary group of “creat-ors” that thrives across content, channels, and formats, with AI, automation, and content innovation at the core of creative operations.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Creative Vision
- Define and evolve Lovesac’s brand identity and creative expression across platforms and formats
- Translate business/marketing objectives into breakthrough creative concepts and measurable results
- Act as the brand guardian: ensure consistent voice, tone, and design across all customer-facing assets
Campaign & Content Development
- Lead concepting and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (seasonal launches, product storytelling, brand initiatives, omnichannel promotions)
- Oversee content creation for paid media, social, retail displays, email, packaging, and website, balancing aesthetics with performance
- Manage creative production across art direction, copywriting, photography, video production, motion design, and UX creative
Team Leadership & Creative Culture
- Evolve the team from a traditional structure to a cross-functional “team of creators”
- Build, lead, and develop designers, copywriters, art directors, producers, and content creators
- Foster a culture of experimentation, originality, and speed with in-house, real-time execution
- Implement future-forward workflows using AI tools and emerging technologies to scale and streamline content creation
- Manage relationships with agencies and freelancers
Requirements / Qualifications
- Visionary leadership to drive brand storytelling and creative strategy end-to-end
- Ability to lead and evolve a multidisciplinary creative organization
- Demonstrated ability to connect creative work to measurable business/marketing results
Work Location & Availability
- Remote role reporting into the Lovesac Corporate HUB in Stamford, CT
- Must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment
- Ability to travel as needed
