About the role

Role Overview

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Digital Developer to design, develop, and modify web applications and integration software supporting the organization’s digital fundraising assets across its businesses.

Responsibilities

Gather and clarify requirements; support solution and application architecture work
Design, develop, and maintain web applications and integrations
Develop software artifacts aligned to requirements, standards, and architecture
Run unit and integrated testing; support UAT and defect remediation
Manage incoming tickets and defects: preliminary debugging, triage, escalation, and customer/status communication
Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs
Deliver coordination, production, and project support through release and delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and TypeScript
Experience with ticketing systems, troubleshooting web app defects, and debugging with in-browser tools
Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) / Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools
Customer-service minded with strong communication skills
Solutions-oriented with good problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Azure platform
Experience with Microsoft .NET full-stack and related technologies
Angular (or another JavaScript framework)
Express.js, Redis, PostgreSQL

Compensation

$115,000 – $125,000 expected pay range (may vary with experience and geography)
