About the role
Role Overview
The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Digital Developer to design, develop, and modify web applications and integration software supporting the organization’s digital fundraising assets across its businesses.
Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify requirements; support solution and application architecture work
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and integrations
- Develop software artifacts aligned to requirements, standards, and architecture
- Run unit and integrated testing; support UAT and defect remediation
- Manage incoming tickets and defects: preliminary debugging, triage, escalation, and customer/status communication
- Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs
- Deliver coordination, production, and project support through release and delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with ticketing systems, troubleshooting web app defects, and debugging with in-browser tools
- Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) / Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools
- Customer-service minded with strong communication skills
- Solutions-oriented with good problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Azure platform
- Experience with Microsoft .NET full-stack and related technologies
- Angular (or another JavaScript framework)
- Express.js, Redis, PostgreSQL
Compensation
- $115,000 – $125,000 expected pay range (may vary with experience and geography)
