About the role

Role Overview

The American Heart Association is hiring a Sr. Digital Developer to design, develop, and modify web applications and integration software supporting AHA digital fundraising assets across its businesses.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications and integration software.
Gather requirements and support solution/application architecture and development standards.
Write and deliver software artifacts based on functional specs and architecture.
Perform unit and integrated testing.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and remediate defects.
Manage incoming tickets/defects: preliminary debugging, triage, escalation, and customer status updates.
Refine and clarify business requirements.
Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs.
Coordinate delivery with production and project support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
Experience using ticketing systems and debugging/troubleshooting web application defects.
Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps (or similar tracking tools).
Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
Solutions-oriented, strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure.
Full-stack experience with Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
Experience with Angular (or another JavaScript framework).
Experience with Express.js, Redis cache, and PostgreSQL.

Compensation

$115,000 – $125,000 base pay range (commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply).
