About the role
Role Overview
Sr. Digital Developer responsible for designing, developing, and modifying web applications and integration software that support American Heart Association digital fundraising assets across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Gather and refine requirements; support solution/application architecture and development standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using technologies such as:
- React, Ionic React
- Nest.js, TypeScript
- (Plus) familiarity with Microsoft .NET framework/core and Web API
- Create software artifacts aligned to requirements and architecture.
- Perform unit and integrated testing; support UAT.
- Remediate defects found during development and delivery.
- Manage incoming tickets/defects: preliminary debugging, triage, escalation, and status communication.
- Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs.
- Coordinate production and project support throughout delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with ticketing systems and debugging/troubleshooting web application defects (including in-browser tools).
- Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools.
- Customer-service mindset, excellent communication skills.
- Solutions-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure platform.
- Full-stack development experience with Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
- Experience with Angular (or another JavaScript framework).
- Experience with Express.js, Redis cache, and PostgreSQL.
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $115,000–$125,000 annually (adjusted for experience and possible geographic differentials).
