About the role

Role Overview

Sr. DevSecOps Engineer supporting the C4ISR domain. You will help develop and maintain secure, efficient, scalable software by building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and strengthening DevSecOps practices across multiple product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
  • Design, implement, and optimize DevSecOps methodologies to improve automation, security, and efficiency
  • Install/configure/test/troubleshoot automation tools and software suites in heterogeneous (mixed) environments
  • Collaborate with Agile teams (e.g., sprint planning, iterative development)
  • Modernize legacy applications by integrating contemporary DevSecOps tools and practices
  • Administer Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for Agile processes and tracking
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training on DevSecOps tools and best practices
  • Implement containerization solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts
  • Enhance testing by integrating static analysis and other testing frameworks into pipelines
  • Maintain security and compliance standards aligned to government/industry requirements

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen; Top Secret security clearance required
  • Prior experience in DevOps or automation-focused software development
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Batch
  • Proficiency with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bamboo
  • Strong containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Ability to provide technical support and training on DevSecOps tools (incl. GitLab, Nexus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience improving legacy systems with DevSecOps modernization
  • Deeper expertise in infrastructure-as-code and integrated security tooling within pipelines
