About the role

Role overview

Forbes Advisor is seeking a Senior Health and Home Data Analyst (Sr. Data Research Analyst) to lead its Health & Home verticals. You will collaborate with the editorial team to produce trustworthy, data-backed recommendations and rankings for consumer product and service assessments.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a small team of data analysts (support deliverables and career development).
Provide feedback on SEO data requests for feasibility, usability, and scalability.
Review and improve methodologies for clarity, reliability, and validity.
Lead a team of researchers to collect product and service data, focused on Health & Wellness and Home.
Oversee quality control and data sanitization processes.
Conduct analysis on collected data to identify top-quality products and services.
Collaborate with peers to introduce and develop new techniques/processes to improve data collection efficiency.
Work with editorial to set priorities and maintain regular pipeline throughput.
Review editorial outputs from your work product to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Experience with Tableau (Desktop, Prep Builder, and Cloud).
Comfortable learning new/bespoke systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to change and prioritize projects.
Strong curiosity and ability to articulate reasons for ranking changes.
Comfortable managing your own projects and deliverables.
Comfortable working with international teams.

Nice-to-haves

Prior experience in a quality role.
Familiarity with Health & Wellness or Home products and services.
SQL proficiency for data manipulation (desirable).
Degree in a relevant field (business or computer science) or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

Proficiency using Tableau for data analysis and manipulation.
SQL proficiency desired.
