About the role

Role: Sr. Data Analyst

Lead end-to-end, complex, data-driven implementations focused on data integrity and keeping data workflows running reliably. You will work across teams to improve pipelines, standardize data operations, and scale documented data workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data projects: scoping, stakeholder alignment (internal/external), timelines, and successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain documentation for data workflows, pipelines, reporting logic, and system definitions.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating data concepts into actionable insights.
  • Design and implement standardized processes/frameworks for:
    • data intake
    • data quality & validation
    • reporting and delivery
  • Oversee and optimize data workflows across teams; identify inefficiencies and drive sustainable, scalable improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Analytics, Engineering, Product, Data Integration, and Client Delivery.
  • Lead project tracking and communication, proactively manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Work in Databricks and related data platforms to support, document, and optimize workflows/pipelines.
  • Use Azure DevOps to identify, track, and maintain initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data governance, pipeline documentation standards, and technical best practices.
  • Mentor team members on data policies, documentation standards, scalability, and workflow efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex data issues and ensure findings feed back into process improvements.
  • Independently validate outputs, troubleshoot issues, and support analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years in data analysis, data operations, analytics, or related role with proven ownership of complex projects.
  • Advanced SQL for complex querying, optimization, and data validation.
  • Strong experience with Databricks (or similar cloud data platforms), working with large-scale datasets and supporting ETL workflows.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, analytical modeling).
  • Proven ETL/pipeline experience with emphasis on documentation, orchestration, and operational reliability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and document complex cross-functional workflows from initiation through delivery.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
