Role Overview

Sr. Data Analyst (Remote)

Oversee the integrity and timeliness of data operations through proactive research, in-depth analysis of complex issues, and strong partnership with internal customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data intake, delivery, and quality from customers
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies/discrepancies; communicate findings to relevant teams
• Design and execute database queries for internal and external analytical needs
• Monitor incoming data for trends and proactively address data anomalies
• Support and produce reports and critical ad hoc reporting
• Build and enhance enterprise BI dashboards used internally and externally
• Perform data validation, including creating new tests to ensure clean and efficient data flow
• Analyze and interpret complex data; determine root cause, quantify impact, and help prioritize issues
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, QA, Operations, Analytics, and external dev/testing teams on data fixes, requirements, and enhancements
• Document requirements, issues, future enhancements, and recommendations

Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL
• Strong data visualization / BI tooling experience
• Ability to solve complex business problems with data using Python (e.g., scripting repeatable, parameterized tasks)
• Strong analytical skills, including root-cause analysis and prioritization
• Experience with analysis related to membership eligibility and related healthcare data (e.g., claims and pharmacy data)
• Comfortable supporting operational processes and responding to internal customer requests

Nice to Haves

• Experience with data validation testing frameworks and building/maintaining suites of BI dashboards
• Experience coordinating requirements, documentation, and QA for data management projects and enhancements
