About the role

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst at Lyra Health (remote allowed for candidates physically located in the United States). You will collaborate across Technology, Operations, Product, and other teams to deliver business insights, improve analytics processes, and support strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally to provide business insights that enable strategic planning and improve operational processes.
  • Become a domain expert in Lyra’s data sources and work with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and fellow Data Analysts to build and enhance data models.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to build a scalable, flexible analytics metrics database using Snowflake, dbt, GitHub, and peer review.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to identify meaningful trends in care experience and utilization and uncover new opportunity areas.
  • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders ongoing visibility into key metrics.
  • Handle time-sensitive ad hoc data requests while ensuring data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Advise stakeholders on reporting logic, metric development, and data caveats to ensure rigorous methodology.
  • Build automation and self-service analytics solutions, leveraging Python, BI tools, and automation platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry data analysis experience; preference for product/operations analytics and partnerships with Engineering, Operations, and Product.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Engineering, Math, Statistics, Analytics/Data Science, or related field).
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries across multiple schemas and tables.
  • Experience creating views (preferred).
  • Experience with a cloud data warehouse and modeling analytic views with dbt.
  • Strong experience defining metrics and building dashboards/visualizations with actionable insights.
  • Experience building self-serve automated analytics (e.g., scripting, data cleansing, extraction pipelines, and/or process automation).
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, translating technical concepts and scoping reporting requests.
  • Demonstrated ownership: manage projects and meet milestones independently.
