About the role
Role Overview
Sr. Data Analyst focused on Regulatory Data Modeling within a fast-growing, data-driven claims ecosystem. You’ll build and evolve the foundational data model powering reporting, analytics, and machine-driven decision-making, working closely with engineering, product, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models for analytics, reporting, and automated insights
- Develop and enhance a semantic layer to power business intelligence and internal data products
- Translate the end-to-end claims lifecycle into structured, high-quality datasets with Product and Operations
- Integrate new data sources while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and pipeline performance
- Use SQL and Python to analyze large datasets and develop robust analytical frameworks
- Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs
- Document data logic and methodologies clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 6–8 years experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer (incl. statistical analysis and modern data tooling)
- Advanced SQL with exposure to Postgres, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar
- Strong Python skills for analysis, modeling, and automation
- Experience building/maintaining data models and analytical frameworks in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of delivering high-quality insights at a consistent cadence
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating in an experimental, evolving environment
