Sr. Cloud Solutions Architect (100% Remote)

Role Overview

You will own business solution designs for key strategic initiatives, creating end-to-end architectures across business, application/integration, data, infrastructure/platform, and security for enterprise-grade systems. You will partner with Data, Digital, Analytics, and Technology teams to define solution architecture runways and modernization opportunities.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Architecture: Drive solutions from cradle to grave for enterprise systems.
Buy vs. Build Analysis: Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to make justified build/buy recommendations.
Architecture & Design Reviews: Contribute to architecture community reviews and modernization roadmaps.
Trusted Advisor: Align application, security, and platform teams on strategies, patterns, and implementation approaches.
Application Profiling: Identify target Aetna applications for cloud refactor and optimization.
Proofs of Concept / Tech Deep-Dives: Support PoCs for partner technologies.
Technical Blocker Removal: Help application development teams resolve roadblocks (e.g., performance challenges).
Cost Optimization: Recommend opportunities for cost efficiencies (simplicity, configurability, elimination of technical debt).
Tech Debt Management: Develop solution proposals to reduce technical debt within a portfolio.

Requirements

5+ years of design/development experience
1+ year of hands-on cloud implementation experience

Thought leadership, mentoring, and strong hands-on communication/collaboration skills
