Sr. Business / Data Analyst

Role Overview

Sr. Business / Data Analyst (US-based) for a large-scale healthcare environment. You will transform complex clinical and administrative healthcare data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions, bridging business needs with data/technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications aligned to project objectives
• Perform advanced healthcare data analysis, profiling, and validation (clinical and administrative)
• Develop source-to-target mappings and define complex business rules for data transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business leaders, technical teams, developers, architects, PMs) to deliver solutions
• Investigate and resolve business/data/reporting/workflow/system issues across multiple teams
• Present findings, recommendations, and design solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
• Partner with QA to align testing strategies with system functionality, business processes, and expected outcomes
• Evaluate solution options objectively and support decision-making for complex data challenges
• Ensure technology deliverables meet business objectives and deliver measurable value

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in a large, complex US healthcare organization
• 5+ years healthcare data analysis/profiling (clinical and/or administrative)
• 5+ years source-to-target mapping, including complex business rules
• 5+ years SDLC experience
• 3+ years communicating with senior business leaders/executives/key stakeholders
• 5+ years working with relational databases and structured data
• 3+ years writing advanced SQL queries
• 3+ years with large datasets, data warehouses, and big data initiatives
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence, data warehouse concepts, cloud technologies, and analytics solutions
• Excellent communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management

• Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams in a remote environment
