Role Overview

Sr. AWS Cloud Architect (Remote-USA)

You will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and Terraform. This is a fully remote role within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK and Terraform
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to enable seamless delivery
• Establish and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices
• Optimize cloud performance and costs using monitoring and automation
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams
• Stay current with emerging AWS services and IaC tooling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years cloud architecture experience, including 4+ years on AWS
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS CDK and Terraform
• Proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of AWS cost optimization strategies
