Role Overview

Sr. Acumatica Developer (Remote, US)

You will lead and drive the end-to-end research, design, implementation, and delivery of software applications, with a focus on security, performance, maintainability, and quality. You’ll operate as a senior leader within a Scrum team and across cross-functional groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead research, design, implementation, and delivery of applications via CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and maintain applications; mitigate vulnerabilities/dependencies and optimize performance
• Lead quality assurance practices, including unit tests
• Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., models/diagrams) to help developers understand systems
• Drive continuous improvement using experimentation and iteration through MVP-to-Production (MVP2P)
• Convert customer requirements into project plans and recommendations
• Lead code reviews and provide guidance on best practices
• Architect solutions for complex problems in high-volume/big dataset environments
• Make/escalate architecture/process decisions through appropriate channels
• Lead Scrum activities: ceremonies/rituals, and guide the team through challenging discussions toward outcomes
• Collaborate with developers to deliver value each sprint
• Serve on cross-functional committees
• Mentor and develop other developers (hard and soft skills)
• Provide expertise to improve systems, code, and organizational processes
• Identify scalability, security, and uptime opportunities
• Contribute to PCI DSS validation as a Level 1 Service Provider

What We Need From You

• 4+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years without a Bachelor’s
• 5+ years with C# and .NET Framework (4.8+) or .NET Core
• 5+ years with Acumatica xRP Framework, including expert knowledge of:
  • Data Access Classes (DACs)
  • BLC (Business Logic Controller)/Graphs
  • Request–Response lifecycle
• TypeScript and React experience for Acumatica Modern UI
• 5+ years with T-SQL (advanced querying, profiling, optimization) for MS SQL Server or MySQL with BQL for data retrieval
• Experience developing/maintaining REST and SOAP web services
• Experience with data and third-party integrations (e.g., e-commerce, WMS, payment gateways)
• Expert use of Visual Studio and Git/GitHub
• Experience achieving PCI DSS validation or similar certification
• Preferred: Business Central experience
