Sr. Acumatica Developer (PayTrace by North)

Location: Remote, US

Role Overview

Lead end-to-end delivery of Acumatica-based software solutions, from research and design through implementation and CI/CD delivery. Operate as a senior leader within a Scrum team—driving architectural decisions, quality, security, performance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, implementation, and delivery of software applications via CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and evolve applications; mitigate vulnerabilities and dependency risks; optimize performance.
• Lead quality assurance practices, including writing unit tests to validate correct behavior.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., models/diagrams) for other developers.
• Translate customer requirements into project plans and recommendations.
• Lead code reviews and provide guidance on best practices.
• Architect solutions for complex problems in high-volume / large data environments.
• Raise and help decide architecture/process changes through the appropriate channels.
• Act as a senior leader in Scrum: lead through challenging conversations and drive outcomes each sprint.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional groups to deliver customer value.
• Mentor and develop other developers.
• Contribute to scalability, security, and uptime improvements.
• Support PCI DSS validation as a Level 1 Service Provider.

Requirements

• 4+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years without a Bachelor’s.
• 5+ years with C# and .NET Framework (4.8+) or .NET Core.
• 5+ years with Acumatica xRP Framework, including expert knowledge of:
  • DACs (Data Access Classes)
  • BLC / Graphs (Business Logic Controller)
  • Request–Response lifecycle
• 5+ years with TypeScript and React for Acumatica Modern UI.
• 5+ years with T-SQL for advanced querying, profiling, and optimization in MS SQL Server (or MySQL + BQL for data retrieval).
• Experience developing/maintaining REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with data and third-party integrations (e.g., e-commerce, WMS, payment gateways).
• Expert use of Visual Studio and Git/GitHub.
• Experience achieving PCI DSS validation (or similar certification).

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
