Sr. Accountant

Role Overview

Senior Accountant responsible for accurate, timely accounting transactions and reconciliations, including supporting month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Meet month-end close deadlines by preparing journal entries
• Lead resolution of issues for assigned accounts and reconciliations
• Analyze accounting records to identify concerns and provide proactive support
• Prepare audit schedules and partner with third-party auditors
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting controls, procedures, and policies
• Identify opportunities to recommend cost reductions/improvements
• Provide backup support for other Finance roles as needed
• Support consolidation activities, including:
  • Review/record reporting packages from international locations
  • Intercompany eliminations
  • Foreign currency accounting
• Assist with purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years of experience in an Accounting role
• Experience using complex spreadsheets and accounting systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
