Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

NetBox Labs is hiring a Solutions Engineer to drive new-customer acquisition and growth. You will help accelerate new-logo revenue by generating first meetings, supporting sales with technical value, and creating new selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze prospects’ pain points, use cases, roles, and business objectives.
• Own technical positioning of NetBox Labs products during customer engagements; articulate value propositions.
• Educate prospects/customers on solutions through technical demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs).
• Translate technical environment details into “big picture” value statements and a technical win strategy in partnership with Sales.
• Collaborate closely with:
  • SE Leader (deal execution and quality)
  • Head of Marketing (pipeline generation campaigns)
  • Account Executives and Solutions Engineers (targeting and meeting creation)
  • VP of Sales (adjusting sales strategy based on market feedback)
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative to exceed goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct enterprise SE experience, or 5+ years total experience.
• 4–5 years selling enterprise SaaS or open source SaaS to network engineering/network management teams or other technical enterprise buyers.
• 2+ years experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong listening, communication (verbal/written), and presentation skills.
• Strong time and project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Technical passion; ability to break down complex topics.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator, Seamless.ai, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with NetBox and/or network engineering/network automation use cases and challenges (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Claude and ChatGPT.

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to network automation and network observability workflows aligned to NetBox use cases.
