About the role

Role Overview

Clario is seeking a Solutions Design Analyst for fully remote work from Costa Rica. You will deliver high-quality eCOA (electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) solution designs for pharmaceutical and biotech clients, translating study and sponsor requirements into optimized designs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Solutions Design process for client studies.
  • Review clinical trial protocols to identify eCOA solution needs and define study-specific eCOA designs.
  • Gather sponsor requirements and recommend Clario design components to meet study needs.
  • Create and maintain design specifications to ensure consistency across:
    • data capture
    • delivery
    • database structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Data Management, Product, and Clinical Systems Translation & Licensing (CSTL) to align on requirements and data integrity.
  • Present solution designs at internal and external milestone meetings.
  • Support project scoping, change control, and testing as needed.
  • Contribute to product and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain organized documentation and support study tracking efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; science or healthcare-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in clinical trials or an equivalent role.
  • Ability to interpret clinical trial materials such as protocols, questionnaires, and data models.
  • Proven experience translating client requirements into design specifications.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including interacting with clients.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulatory processes and clinical research standards.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with technical documentation tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • Must be based in Costa Rica and able to work fully remote.
