Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Stefanini is hiring a Solutions Architect for remote work. You will be a technical leader accountable for technology choices and solution design across multiple payment systems and payment systems modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, propose, and architect requirements-based products and solutions aligned to enterprise business and technology needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology providers, security, and other architects to create:
  • Technology and information architectures
  • Solution designs, strategies, and roadmaps for payment systems
• Partner with senior business leadership and infrastructure/provider teams to identify business needs and shape the IT vision, including transition roadmaps.
• Define and enforce strategic direction across the enterprise (technologies, standards, processes, current/target architectures).
• Ensure product-level solutions conform to enterprise architecture direction.
• Lead large transformation program planning with program leads and business lines.
• Work with Enterprise/Platform/Security/Data/Infrastructure architects to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Guide the organization to adopt architecture design patterns, system best practices, and standards across architecture, security, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendors via vendor evaluation, proof of concepts (POCs), and MVP definition, then recommend improvements.
• Demonstrate leadership and agility in ambiguity and change.

Requirements

• 8+ years of architecture experience in complex, multi-platform distributed environments.
• Strong problem solving and oral/written communication, including executive presentations.
• In-depth knowledge of current technology, industry standards/frameworks, information management, and emerging technology trends.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, specifically AWS, and API integrations.
• Ability to connect architectural decisions to business needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and concurrent activities.

Nice to Have

• Banking, financial, or payment processing experience.
• Experience with real-time payment processing.
• Experience defining future-state strategy and architecture principles supporting roadmaps.
• Experience with reference architecture, principles, and standards.
• Cloud certifications.
• Strong understanding of Agile and product-centric execution models.

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or related field (or equivalent experience).
