About the role

Role Overview

Solutions Architect (Remote) is a strategic technology leader responsible for designing and delivering scalable enterprise integration solutions. The role provides technical leadership and domain expertise across architecture, roadmaps, system documentation, and risk assessments, partnering with enterprise architects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver integration solutions across business processes, applications/platforms, and enterprise environments.
  • Create conceptual and logical architectures, system documentation, and risk assessments in collaboration with enterprise architects (Cloud, Data, Software).
  • Drive innovation using API-led integration patterns, SOA, and microservices to support digital transformation.
  • Define API objectives for a large technical environment, including API best practices and service governance.
  • Enable integration self-service by supporting teams with standards, guidance, and assets.
  • Support application teams (employees and third-party contractors) in adopting integration layer and SOA best practices.
  • Develop and improve tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of architectural efforts.
  • Build solutions that solve problems at scale, applying product, technology, and business knowledge.
  • Partner with 3rd-party vendors to integrate required capabilities.
  • Run POCs and perform SWOT analysis of technology and architecture practices.
  • Communicate complex technical topics to engineering teams, stakeholders, and business owners.
  • Mentor engineering teams in software development and architectural principles, patterns, and practices.
  • Facilitate JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions when needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly learn new information and provide strong architectural guidance.
  • Ability to perform hands-on development and active engineering work when necessary.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience integrating with enterprise architectures across Cloud, Data, and Software domains.
  • Experience working with multi-team, cross-functional stakeholder groups and vendor integration.
