Solutions Architect (Remote)

Role

Solutions Architect (Remote) for Gallagher Affinity, reporting to the GGB Americas CTO. The role shapes and delivers technology solutions across strategic initiatives by translating high-level business ideas into practical, scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for complex, enterprise initiatives
• Convert business needs into actionable technology designs and roadmaps
• Support key initiatives including:
  • System integrations
  • Platform modernization
  • Application consolidation / app rationalization
• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize technology platforms
• Partner with business stakeholders as a trusted advisor for solution approaches, platform decisions, and vendor selection
• Ensure alignment and governance via architecture/design review forums
  • Confirm security, data governance, integration, and scalability requirements are met
  • Coordinate with enterprise architecture teams for consistency
• Collaborate across engineering, product, data, and infrastructure; coordinate with external consulting/delivery teams
• Evaluate new technologies and lead proof-of-concept efforts to test new ideas
• Promote modern architecture approaches (including cloud-based and integration-first designs)

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or enterprise systems
• Strong system design and integration knowledge, including cloud-based technologies
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to brief senior leadership and technical teams
