About the role

Role overview

As a Solutions Architect at LaunchDarkly (full remote), you help customers adopt and operationalize AI-powered applications and platforms. You’ll partner with engineering, platform, and AI leaders to integrate LaunchDarkly into modern AI architectures for safe, optimized, and continuously observed releases.

Key missions

Trusted advisor to customers: guide transformative LaunchDarkly implementations and enable adoption of AI-powered applications.
Lead strategic customer engagements: support use cases like feature-gated AI rollouts and safe experimentation.
Integrate LaunchDarkly into AI architectures: work with customer engineering/platform/AI teams to ensure AI systems are released safely, observed continuously, and optimized through experimentation.

Responsibilities (implied)

Design and deliver solutions that integrate LaunchDarkly into customer systems.
Provide hands-on guidance for release and experimentation practices.
Collaborate across technical stakeholders and communicate effectively with experts from different backgrounds.

Requirements

Strong technical mindset: understand systems in the real world (including working with code).
Strong customer focus and ownership; proactive and comfortable with hard problems.
Ability to write production-quality code and build/ship working integrations and prototypes (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Go, or similar).
Experience guiding customers on DevOps, CI/CD, and modern release practices (including experimentation and progressive delivery).
Strong grasp of feature management and experimentation platforms.
5+ years in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions architecture with a hands-on consultative style.
Hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Linux, and containers.
Interest in or understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent/tool-augmented approaches.
Experience across the full SDLC in enterprise environments and experience leading teams through development/platform transformations.

Nice to haves

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

Travel

Up to 20% travel.
