Role Overview

Solutions Architect (Insurance) — Fully Remote You will provide cloud technology design and delivery expertise for modern, insurance-focused solutions. The role is technology-agnostic, but solutions will heavily leverage AWS and/or GCP, including open-source components and PaaS/SaaS building blocks.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on solution architectures
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design and roadmaps
• Work with Delivery Managers to guide architecture during solution deployment
• Explore multiple architecture alternatives to find the most effective approach
• Ensure solutions are implemented according to client expectations and company standards
• Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components to meet client needs
• Provide ongoing client support and guidance throughout implementation
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve solution designs

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 6+ years in solution architecture design/delivery roles in the insurance vertical (multiple lines of business)
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in enterprise environments
• Ability to help define and socialize product/enterprise roadmaps
• Ability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures
• Understanding of business architecture models and patterns
• Experience designing for high availability and high scalability cloud applications
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL environments
• Experience designing for APIs and microservices-centric environments
• Ability to self-learn new technologies and approaches
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with low-code platforms
• Advantageous: exposure to multiple programming languages and DB engines
• Advantageous: authentication/authorization concepts (e.g., SSO, SAML, identity federation)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
