Solutions Architect (Insurance) - Fully Remote

Role Overview

Solutions Architect (Insurance) focused on designing and delivering cloud-based solutions for modern insurance environments. You’ll partner with clients to assess needs, design tailored solution architectures, and support business initiatives aligned to roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on appropriate solution architectures
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design
• Work with Delivery Managers to guide the architecture approach during deployment
• Evaluate multiple solution options and recommend the most effective approach
• Ensure solutions are implemented according to client expectations and company standards
• Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components (PaaS/SaaS/open-source building blocks)
• Provide ongoing support and guidance during implementation
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 6+ years in solution architecture design and delivery roles in the insurance vertical (multiple lines of business)
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in enterprise environments
• Ability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and architecture designs
• Understanding of business architecture models & patterns
• Experience designing for high availability and highly scalable cloud applications
• Experience designing solutions using relational DBs and NoSQL
• Experience designing for API- and microservices-centric environments
• Ability to self-learn new technology trends and approaches
• Familiarity with low-code platforms is a plus
• Helpful exposure to authentication/authorization concepts (e.g., SSO, SAML, identity federation)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience/understanding of low-code platforms
• Exposure to multiple development languages and various database engines
• Deeper knowledge of AWS and/or GCP-based architectures
