About the role
Role Overview
As a Solutions Architect, you will lead the architectural design and solution development for complex government applications. You will provide technical leadership across the SDLC, translating business and technical needs into effective systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and solution development for mission-critical government applications
- Provide technical leadership and direction to development teams throughout the SDLC
- Define technical standards and best practices for solution development
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption opportunities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to convert complex requirements into solutions
- Guide teams through technology transitions and support training efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 7+ years experience as an engineer, architect, or solution architect
- Extensive experience with infrastructure and compute environments including AWS, Azure, and VMware
- Deep understanding of SDLC, PDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Proven experience designing and integrating complex systems
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management frameworks
Compensation
- Competitive salary: $170,000 – $195,000 per year
