About the role

Role: Solutions Architect

Lead the architectural design and solution development for complex government applications, providing technical direction throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture and architectural design for complex government systems
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to development teams across the SDLC
  • Define technical standards and best practices for solution development
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption opportunities
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex needs into effective solutions
  • Guide teams through technology transitions and support training efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience as an engineer, architect, or solutions architect
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure and compute environments (AWS, Azure, VMware)
  • Deep knowledge of SDLC, PDLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience designing and integrating complex systems
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and risk management frameworks
