Solutions Architect (EMEA)

Role overview

Wasabi is hiring a Solutions Architect (EMEA) for a full-remote role. You’ll apply your expertise in public cloud object storage and the S3 ecosystem to help deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and improve Wasabi’s services.

Key missions

• Collaborate with Wasabi engineers worldwide to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot services
• Deepen expertise in the S3 storage protocol and how it communicates with Wasabi’s services
• Share innovative ideas to help the team and service offering improve

Responsibilities

• Engage cross-functionally with engineers across the globe
• Work with core storage/protocol components used by Wasabi
• Present and communicate effectively with customers and partners

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with public cloud object storage and associated policies
• Working knowledge of S3 (including AWS IAM policies), plus familiarity with Azure Blob and GCP Storage
• Experience with mission-critical, 24×7 systems
• Understanding of Linux and programming fundamentals
• Experience with network/protocol concepts such as S3, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS
• Ability to present to customers and partners
• Basic understanding of reseller/channel business models
• Fluent/native French and English
• 5+ years experience in Support Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment
