Solutions Architect

Role Overview

You will serve as a Solutions Architect responsible for the localized adaptation and system integration of Airalo’s Global MVNO Core. You will translate regional regulatory/market mandates into functional requirements and lead cross-functional alignment across MNOs, regulators, legal, product, and engineering.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Lead localized adaptation and system integration of the Global MVNO core to meet local market requirements.
• Act as the primary bridge between legal/regulatory outcomes and the core network engineering team.
• Run requirements discovery workshops with local MNOs, regulators, and internal teams to define:
  • scope
  • priorities
  • implementation approach
• Define business rules and data exchange requirements.
• Provide functional leadership to development teams.
• Mentor and upskill Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Translate complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably in Telecom or Tech.
• Ability to serve as a liaison between legal, product, and engineering teams.
• Strong English communication skills for meetings and async work (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to write User Stories and Functional Specs and to manage Jira tickets engineering teams can execute.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and process flowcharts.
• Experience discussing technical concepts such as SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers.

Nice-to-haves

• Background/interests in international roaming, interconnectivity, and variations across global telecom markets.
• Experience with GSMA standards and eSIM technology.
• Prior experience in MVNO or Mobile Core environments.
• Familiarity with Lawful Interception (LI) and regional compliance reporting.
• Experience coaching/mentoring team members.
