About the role

Role Overview

Join SailPoint as a Solution Architect and undergo product training to become a technical lead for customer projects. You’ll work with customers and partners to translate business needs into solution architectures, scope implementations, and guide solution design.

Key Missions

Gather business use cases from customers and document product-based requirements with recommended solution designs.
Educate customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices.
Assist with scoping, analysis, and documentation for implementation projects.
Help design creative solutions for complex problems with a focus on identity governance and SaaS solutions.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners.
5–7+ years professional experience in an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm.
3+ years software implementation experience.
Experience with software development, implementation, and configuration.
J2EE certification and/or CISSP is a plus.
Experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular and/or React.
Understanding of enterprise technologies including:
- Spring Boot / Spring MVC, XML, SPML/SOAP, and web/application servers
- NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)
- Linux/Unix and other platforms (Windows, Sun, HP, AIX)
- Directories (LDAP, AD)
- Cloud IaaS (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ERP/Service management systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow)

Nice-to-Haves

SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect (expected within 12 months of hire).
Computer Science / Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with SailPoint identity governance and/or ecosystem vendors.
AI/ML concepts exposure.
Project management experience (planning, resources, scope/schedule/status, documentation).
Quality assurance experience (usability/performance/automated testing; test plans/cases).
Security software or IT audit experience.
