Solution Architect Intern

Role Overview

Solution Architect Intern (Part-Time, Remote) Find Me is looking for a Solution Architect intern to help lead the architecture and development of a mobile application designed for high performance, scalability, and security across iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of mobile applications aligned to business and technical goals.
• Define and document the mobile architecture, including:
  • Data models
  • APIs
  • Microservices
  • Backend systems
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security for iOS/Android.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Guide engineering teams through development by:
  • Making architecture decisions
  • Establishing coding standards
  • Conducting code reviews
• Oversee cloud infrastructure supporting mobile app capabilities such as:
  • Authentication
  • Data storage
  • Notifications
• Partner with DevOps to support a streamlined CI/CD pipeline with automated testing and efficient deployments.
• Optimize mobile apps for speed and user experience with minimal resource usage (e.g., battery and memory).
• Identify and mitigate security risks and help ensure alignment with data privacy and security best practices.
• Stay current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years software development experience; 3+ years in mobile app architecture/design.
• Proficiency in mobile frameworks/languages such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, Java.
• Strong understanding of backend services, microservices, and APIs for mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of mobile security (e.g., encryption, authentication, secure coding).
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building cross-platform mobile applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Prior mobile domain experience.
