About the role

Role overview

Work as a Software Test Engineer – AI Trainer with DataAnnotation’s coding team to help train and improve AI systems. The work is fully remote with a flexible schedule, and you choose the projects that fit your availability.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluent English (native or bilingual)
Strong writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Preferred: Kotlin

Nice to have

Prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer

Location / eligibility

Available only to people based in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand

Compensation & logistics

Paid hourly for projects, up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available)
Payment via PayPal; no money is requested from candidates
