Role Overview

Software Quality Assurance Engineer I at Edovate Learning Corp.

Part-time: up to 20 hours/week
Responsible for manual and automated testing of the Edovate application platform.
Success means features meet user story acceptance criteria and defects are found and resolved as early as possible in the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed test plans and test cases for Edovate applications
Execute manual and automated test plans
Keep tasks up to date in the organization’s project tracking system
Triage reported software defects
Maintain process/test procedures/quality manuals for features and fixes
Identify root causes of production issues and recommend and/or implement corrective actions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1–3 years of software QA experience (manual + automated)
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Proven ability to develop, document, and execute test cases/scripts/plans
Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira or Azure DevOps)
