Role: Software QA Specialist

Join Higharc’s engineering team as a QA Engineer focused on ensuring a seamless, bug-free experience for builders using a modern web-based CAD application.

Responsibilities

• Enhance platform quality by collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teams.
• Apply mid to expert level drafting and homebuilding domain knowledge to improve quality outcomes.
• Manually test new features, regression scenarios, and complex user flows in a web-based CAD environment.
• Write, maintain, and execute test cases based on product specifications and user stories.
• Partner with developers and PMs to understand implementations and identify edge cases before release.
• Log bugs in an issue tracking system (Linear) and help drive fixes through validation.
• Contribute to QA sign-off for releases.
• Review automated test outputs and help identify gaps in test coverage alongside automation engineers.
• Coordinate with the team for release QA activities.

Requirements

• Direct experience with production homebuilding documentation (not just conceptual knowledge).
• Mid to expert level drafter with strong BIM modeling/CAD experience (e.g., Revit / AutoCAD).
• 3+ years experience in production homebuilding, including option management and master plan set documentation.
• Ability to test features involving real-time collaboration, 3D rendering, or document generation.
• Strong written communication and bug-reporting skills.
• Organized, self-directed, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in Brazil.
• Fluent English required (business conducted in English).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the software development and testing process.
• Experience working in an Agile software team.
• Exposure to test/bug tools such as Linear and Qase.
• Basic familiarity with browser developer tools.
• Basic understanding of how tests can be automated.
