Software QA Engineer, Jr.

Role Overview

Join QA Wolf as a Junior Software QA Engineer (fully remote) in the Pacific Time Zone. You’ll create and maintain automated tests for a diverse set of customer applications to ensure reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Debug issues using Chrome DevTools and accurately reproduce failures
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand testing requirements
• Improve QA automation tooling and contribute to best practices
• Support multiple customer accounts and ensure timely delivery
• Read and interpret documentation to unblock and troubleshoot independently
• Participate in the hiring process (e.g., take-home coding challenges and work sessions)
• Provide feedback to improve QA processes and automation strategies

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Experience using Chrome DevTools to debug and reproduce failures
• Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts
• Self-motivated with a quick learning curve
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting
• Legal authorization to work in the US, Canada, UK, or Australia
• Residency within the Pacific Time Zone (US)
