Overview

Lead planning, coordination, communication, and delivery management for assigned software projects. Serve as the primary customer-facing project contact and partner closely with the Lead Software Engineer and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are clearly defined, properly planned, effectively communicated, and successfully delivered.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and customer communication
• Work with sales, management, software leadership, customers, and stakeholders to define and confirm the software scope of work
• Lead or coordinate project documentation, including:
  • Functional Description of Operations (FDO)
  • Functional Specification Document (FSD)
  • Configuration documentation, integration specifications, and implementation plans/deliverables
• Manage scope deviations and customer-requested changes, including impact review, documentation, communication, and approval coordination
• Build and maintain project plans, milestones, priorities, deliverables, and schedules
• Use Azure DevOps (or similar) to manage work items, tasks, priorities, risks, and delivery progress
• Create/maintain Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog review, prioritization, and project status tracking
• Coordinate with development, QA, support, implementation, and infrastructure teams to ensure work is properly planned, staffed, tracked, and delivered
• Lead regular customer meetings/status calls, design reviews, scope reviews, testing coordination, and go-live planning
• Coordinate planning for integrations, including:
  • Host system integrations and automation subsystem interfaces
  • PLC/equipment interfaces
  • REST APIs, socket interfaces, database interfaces, file exchanges, reporting, and other project-specific integrations
• Support planning/coordination for:
  • Internal testing, integration testing, customer testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Deployment, go-live validation, and post-go-live stabilization
• Develop and maintain site implementation plans (staffing, testing, go-live support, escalation paths, timing)
• Coordinate travel schedules for software team with execution teams and customers
• Track budget performance, labor usage, remaining work, estimate-to-complete, change requests, and scope impacts
• Provide regular updates to software management and company leadership
• Coordinate project closeout: support transition, documentation completion, open issue review, and lessons learned

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or similar) preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• 5+ years of experience (full requirement text is cut off in the posting)
